Apprenticeships are particularly important to Certas Energy and we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) every year. This year’s theme is ‘build the future’; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and for businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
Hear from Certas Energy Managing Director, Steve Taylor:
“This week provides us with the opportunity to celebrate the value, benefit, and opportunities that apprenticeships bring.
To all our apprentices, thank you for your continued hard work and help to shape the future of our workforce. I hope that 2022 continues to be a year of progression and moving forward towards your goals and aspirations”.
NAW and Certas Energy
Here is a summary of what you can expect throughout the week:
The HGV driver shortage in the UK is an ongoing problem. We are proud to be working to recruit and train several drivers throughout 2022. During National Apprenticeship Week we will run a number of features on life as an apprentice driver to start the week off as well as catching up with drivers who have completed the apprenticeship to hear how they are getting on.
Later in the week, we will catch up with some familiar faces from previous NAW weeks that we have profiled previously. These apprentices are from various departments across the business, do take a moment to read the features and join us in celebrating their progression.
So bookmark this web page, look out for the articles across our social media channels and find out what life as an apprentice at Certas Energy is really like.
