As a trusted partner for construction, Certas Energy is committed to supporting a more sustainable future for an industry which is under increasing pressure to do more with less.
We will be debuting our fuel and lubricant management solutions for the construction industry during this year’s UK Construction Week on stand E120 from 10-12th October at the NEC in Birmingham.
Fuel and lubricants may only represent a small percentage of construction spend but by making smarter choices over these commodities, contractors can benefit from smoother and more efficient operations and machinery.
Concerns over air quality in UK mean that the construction industry is under pressure to clean up its act and reduce the impact harmful emissions have on our environment and the health and wellbeing of the workforce. Making smarter fuel choices is a practical first step in helping to reduce emissions and we are proud to be the exclusive provider of GTL Fuel in the UK, a cleaner burning alternative to diesel.
This drop-in fuel offers an immediate solution for the construction industry to reduce harmful Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) and Particulate Matter (PM) emissions without impacting efficiency. We will be exploring the opportunities to improve air quality with alternative fuels during a seminar, “A cleaner fuel for cleaner air” on Tuesday 10th October at 3.45pm.
We will also be showcasing an array of solutions designed to keep construction sites moving. These include specialist lubricants for optimal engine performance, bulk and ‘green’ fuels, telematics systems for monitoring fuel usage as well as a range of static and portable tanks for the safe and secure storage of fuel on-site.
Brian Worrall, Director of Corporate Affairs at Certas Energy explained, “From operating more sustainably, improving health and safety on-site and tackling the UK’s air quality problem, we supply products that deliver high performance and add value. With a national network powered by local deliveries to provide reliable bulk fuel and lubricant supply, our customers can be confident that their site will never run out of fuel – allowing them to concentrate on delivering critical infrastructure, housing and industrial projects.
“This will be the first time we’ve showcased our entire offering for the construction industry at a major trade show and we’re looking forward to meeting visitors and demonstrating ways we can help fuel a cleaner, safer and healthier construction industry.”
UK Construction Week is the UK’s largest construction trade show and is attended by over 30,000 visitors. Click here to book your place and find out how Certas Energy is fuelling a cleaner, healthier, safer construction industry.
