Boilershield Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions

1. Promotional Offer

1.1 READ  THESE  TERMS  AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY  BEFORE PARTICIPATING.  THE PARTICIPANT  WILL  BE  DEEMED  TO  HAVE ACCEPTED THESE  TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND  AGREED  TO  BE  BOUND BY THEM  WHEN  PARTICIPATING  IN THIS  PROMOTION.  AMONG OTHER  THINGS,  THESE  TERMS AND CONDITIONS  INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANT’S RIGHTS AND REMEDIES. 

1.2 The Promotor of this Promotion is Certas Energy UK Limited (Company Number: 4168225) of 1st Floor Allday House, Warrington Road, Birchwood, United Kingdom, WA3 6GR (the “Promotor”).  

1.3 Between 1st January 2026 and the 31st March 2026 (inclusive) (“The Promotional Period”), new domestic customers (including ex customers whose Boiler Shield plan has lapsed) (each a “Participant”) who purchase the Boiler Sheild Plan (As detailed in Clause 3) will receive a discount a £25 John Lewis Voucher. (“The Promotion”) subject to these terms and conditions and who otherwise meet the requirements of paragraph 2 of these terms and conditions (the “Eligibility Criteria”). 

1.4 This Promotion is open to new domestic customers only and is not open to commercial, agricultural, or existing customer of the Promotor. The Promotor’s employees and their immediate families, its affiliates, agents or any third party connected to the Promotor or any person connected with this Promotion are also excluded. 

2. Eligibility Criteria 

2.1 To be eligible to obtain the benefits of the Promotion, the Participant must: 
2.1.1 be over the age of 18 years old; 
2.1.2 comply with these terms and conditions;  
2.1.3 be a new domestic customer only (including ex customers whose Boiler Shield plan has lapsed).   
2.1.4 This Promotion does not apply to commercial, agricultural customer or existing customer of the Promotor or any of its affiliated brands or subsidiaries.   
2.1.5 Be within the area in which the Promotor has engineer coverage. If the Promotor does not have engineer coverage in your area, Participants will not be in receipt of this Promotion.  
2.1.6 For the £25 John Lewis Voucher, purchase the Boiler Sheild Plan between 1st January 2025 and 31st March 2026 (inclusive) over the telephone by calling 03457 620 620 for Product(s) as detailed in Clause 3 below during the Promotional Period.

2.2 If the Participant meets the Eligibility Criteria then they will receive the following: 
2.2.1 £25 John Lewis Voucher  
2.2.2 Participants will receive the John Lewis Voucher (subject to these terms and conditions) within 30 days following purchase of the Boiler Sheild Plan.  

2.3 For the avoidance of doubt:  
2.3.1 The Participant will only receive one £25 John Lewis Voucher for the purchase of the Boiler Shield Plan per person and per household. 
2.3.2 The Promoter shall not be required to provide the Participant with a Product, even if the Participant meets the Eligibility Criteria, if the Promoter does not have sufficient stock of the relevant Promotional Product; 
2.3.3 The Promotor shall not be required to provide the Participant with the John Lewis Voucher, even if the Participant meets the Eligibility Criteria, if they are unable to obtain the voucher for reasons outside of the control.  
2.3.4 The £25 John Lewis Voucher will be supplied and fulfilled by Prize Shark (“Prize Provider”) and the Promotor is not responsible for the price fulfilment. All Prize Fulfilment and delivery are the sole responsibility or the Prize Provider.  
2.3.5 By entering this Promotion, Participants agree that the Promotor may share the Participant’s email address with the Prize Provider solely for the purpose of delivering the John Lewis Voucher.  
2.3.6 The John Lewis voucher may be subject to its own terms and conditions, which the Participant may have to agree when receiving the same. John Lewis is in no way affiliated with this Promotion.  

3. Eligible Products  

3.1 Boiler Shield and Boiler Shield Plus plan only.  

For the avoidance of doubt, both the Boiler Sheild Plan and relevant service will be governed by the Promotors standard terms and conditions and any additional information provided by the Promotor.

4. General Terms 

4.1 By submitting to the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any offer. The Promoter may require you to provide proof of eligibility. Eligibility for the Promotion is limited to a single business. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed. 

4.2 The Promotion (subject to these terms and conditions) is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for a cash alternative or used against an alternative product. 

4.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.  

4.4 The Promoter may cancel the Promotion by giving notice on this web page. 

4.5 The Promoter reserves the right not to award the promotion to any Participant where there is not adequate engineer coverage in the Participants residential area.  

4.6 Any personal data collected by the Promoter will be used solely to administer this Promotion and facilitation of any promotion in line with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy linked below.  

4.7 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the discount and/or John Lewis Voucher with an alternative offer of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.  

4.8 The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding, and will not enter into correspondence with the Participant (or their representatives) about it. 

4.9 Excluded products will not count towards any qualifying conditions for offers and will not benefit from any promotional discount. All Promotions including this Promotion, are subject to availability and while stocks last.  

4.10 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage and/or personal injury suffered by the Participant as a result of their participation in the Promotion.  

4.11 The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or temporarily suspend the Promotion at its absolute discretion, provided that it shall not exercise this right unreasonably. The Promoter shall not be obliged to provide notice of the withdrawal.  

4.12 The Promoter reserves the rights to modify and amend these terms and conditions from time to time during the Promotion. 

4.13 The Promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
