If you’re diluting your hot water with cold for a comfortable bath or shower, your boiler’s hot water temperature may be set too high – which is wasting energy. For most homes, a temperature of around 55°C is sufficient.
Check your combi boiler settings—usually marked with a tap icon—and lower it to avoid overspending. If unsure, refer to your boiler manual.
