You can choose our Pay Monthly Planned service, with automatic deliveries. Or opt for our Pay Monthly Predict service and get reminder alerts when you’re ready to order. Both of these services include 12 manageable Direct Debit payments to pay for your annual fuel*. Alternatively, you may prefer to pay for your fuel as you go.

It’s easy, breezy, and entirely up to you.

You’ll pay for your annual fuel in 12 easy monthly Direct Debit payments. We automatically arrange deliveries for you when you’re running low. You don’t even need to call us to order. 

We’ll send you price and delivery alerts to let you know when your fuel is on its way too.

Our Pay Monthly Predict Service

GIVE ONE-OFF BILLS THE BOOT

With our Certas Energy Pay Monthly Predict service, you’ll pay 12 monthly Direct Debits for your annual fuel rather than larger one-off bills each time your order.

Plus you’ll get automatic reminder alerts three weeks before you’re due to order, to help you stay topped up. Just call your friendly local team to set things up, and your payment will automatically come out every month. No hassle. No fuss. And a handy way to budget, too.

‘Pay As You Go’ does what it says on the tin. Just pay in full each time you top up, and it’s all done and dusted until the next time you order. You can pay by debit or credit card, Direct Debit, over the phone, or online by entering your card details on our secure site. Whichever suits you.

The automatic deliveries are triggered by our predictive technology, which takes into consideration things like your usual consumption, ordering patterns and the weather.

 

We’ll send you price and delivery notifications in advance of delivering your fuel. We will also send you regular statements so you can keep track of your usage. It’s really easy to sign up, simply contact your local Certas Team on 0345 600 4040.

 

As an additional benefit, you can choose to also pay a single monthly charge using the Pay Monthly Planned Service.

You will also receive helpful reminder alerts via email or SMS, three weeks before we think you are ready to top up your fuel.  Just to make it easier to keep on top of things. 

 

These are triggered by our predictive technology, which takes into consideration things like your usual consumption, ordering patterns and the weather. 

 

We also send you regular statements so you can keep track of your usage.

You can contact your local Certas team on 0345 600 4040 and they can get you set up in no time. 

 

If you choose either our Pay Monthly Planned or Pay Monthly Predict service, they will ask you a few questions to help to calculate your monthly Direct Debit charges. This involves estimating your expected annual fuel usage to ensure that they set up Direct Debit payments which are sufficient to cover your fuel usage for 12 months, which means you are always paying the correct amount for your fuel. 

Yes you can.

 

If you are on either our Planned Delivery service or our Pay Monthly Planned service, we will automatically schedule your fuel deliveries for when you need it most based on our predictive technology.  We send you notifications on price and delivery dates.  If these are not suitable you are able to call us to re-schedule or discuss price.

 

For customers with our Pay Monthly Predict service we will send you helpful reminder alerts via text message or email when we think you are ready for your next top up.  However, you are still free to order at the time that suits you best, outside of your alert cycle.

Whilst we will do our best to ensure that your monthly charge covers your fuel usage, on occasion we may need to adjust your Direct Debit where your usage exceeds our initial estimate. 

 

In some cases where your final monthly payment will not cover your usage, we will request an additional payment at your anniversary month.  

 

We will provide a quarterly and annual statement and we will let you know in advance of any adjustments or additional payments owed.  

Your anniversary month is the month prior to setting up the Direct Debit. In other words, if your Direct Debit was set up in March, your anniversary month would be February of the following year.

Yes you can cancel at any time by giving us one month's notice.  

 

If your account is not at zero at the time of cancellation, any money that you have paid for future services and fuel not yet provided will be refunded to you. If you owe us money, we will contact you to ask for payment to close the account. 

Yes we have reviewed our service offering to our customers and have made some improvements. 

 

For customers who require automatic fuel top ups and want to pay for their annual fuel in 12 easy monthly Direct Debit payments we now offer our Pay Monthly Planned service which includes regular statements to help you keep track of your usage.  We’ll still send you delivery and price notifications in advance of delivery.

 

For customers who don’t require automatic fuel top ups, but still want to pay for their annual fuel in easy monthly Direct Debit payments we now offer Pay Monthly Predict. Which now includes handy reminder alerts when we think you might need a fuel top up, based on our predictive technology. This service also includes regular statements to help you keep track of your usage.
