Certas Energy Proudly Powers 63rd Cowes Torquay Cowes Powerboat Race.

Certas Energy, the UK’s leading independent fuel and lubricants distributor, is proud to supply the 63rd Cowes Torquay Cowes powerboat race, taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. As the official fuel provider for this iconic event, Certas Energy is thrilled to support the powerboat racing community and contribute to the success of one of the most prestigious events in international marine motorsport.

The Cowes Torquay Cowes race, organised by the British Powerboat Racing Club (BPRC) in partnership with Powerboat P1, is a historic event that attracts powerboat teams from around the world. With a challenging 210-mile course along the south coast of England, this race is a true test of speed, endurance, and skill. Boats will reach speeds of over 100mph, racing non-stop to Torquay before returning to Cowes, showcasing the very best of powerboat racing.

Rowan Castleman, General Sales Manager at Certas Energy, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:

“We are incredibly proud to be fuelling such an iconic event that not only showcases the thrill and excitement of powerboat racing but also highlights the importance of high-performance fuel in demanding conditions. At Certas Energy, we are committed to supporting events that align with our values of performance, reliability, and innovation. The Cowes Torquay Cowes race is a perfect fit for us, and we are excited to be part of this historic event.”

Vickie Hyde, Local Business Account Manager at Certas Energy, added:

“Supporting the local communities and businesses along the south coast is a core part of what we do at Certas Energy. Being involved in an event that brings together both local spectators and international competitors is a fantastic opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to the regions we serve. We look forward to a weekend of thrilling racing and community engagement.”
