Win A Year’s Supply of Letterbox Flowers – Terms and Conditions
The following terms will apply to the Win A Year’s Supply of Letterbox Flowers promotion.
The promotion is open to UK residents aged over 18 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Certas Energy and its associated companies in the DCC PLC Group, its agencies or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
The promotions runs from the 27 June 2022 to midnight on the 15 July 2022 (the ‘’Promotional Period’’)
The promoter of the competition is Certas Energy UK Limited, 302 Bridgewater Place Birchwood Park, Birchwood, Cheshire, WA3 6XG (The Promoter).
No purchase is necessary to enter. One entry only is permitted per person.
To enter the promotion you must follow Certas Energy, Scottish Fuels, or Humphreys Oil on Facebook or Instagram and also tag Certas Energy, Scottish Fuels, or Humphreys Oil in photographs of your garden on Instagram or Facebook or share a photo in the competition post comments on Facebook.
Alternatively you can enter by post. Send your name and address to Certas Energy UK Limited, Domestic Marketing Team, 302 Bridgewater Place, Birchwood Park, Warrington, Cheshire WA3 6XG.
There is one prize available which consists of one year’s subscription to receive a year’s supply of Letterbox Flowers (‘’The Prize’’).
The winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all entries received. The random draw for The Prize will take place on 19th July 2022 (the ‘’Draw Date’’). Certas Energy’s decision is final in all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering, the entrant agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
A single winner will be drawn at random after the competition has closed.
The winner will be notified via direct message after the competition has closed, and no later than 29th July 2022.
The winner must respond via direct message with valid postal details within two weeks of being notified. If the entrant does not respond with postal details, the prize will not be able to be dispatched and therefore the participant will forfeit their prize. The promoter shall not be responsible for any internet service interruptions or other electronic fault.
The Prize will be dispatched to the winner and recipients postal address, which is the address submitted by the winner via direct message, within 28 days of the addresses being supplied.
Certas Energy UK Ltd shall not be liable for any prize undelivered, or not received, for any other reason outside the control of Certas Energy UK Limited.
The Prize is subject to availability and the promoter reserves the right to change the prize at any time. There is no cash alternative to the stated prize in whole or in part.
Certas Energy reserves the right to withdraw, amend or temporarily suspend the competition in its absolute discretion, provided that it shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
Certas Energy has the right to disqualify any entry not made in accordance with these terms and conditions or which it has reason to believe has been made in bad faith.
The prize draw has been developed with standard Facebook technologies. However, there may be hardware limitations in which a user may not be able to take part due to equipment used to take part in the promotion (i.e., web browsers, mobile devices and operating systems). The promoter will in no way accept responsibility for submissions lost due to incompatibilities/faults between software and equipment.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding the full competition mechanic and prizes. Details of the prize winner can be requested at the end of the competition by emailing marketing@certasenergy.co.uk or writing to Certas Energy UK Ltd. 302 Bridgewater Place, Birchwood Park, Birchwood, Warrington. WA3 6XG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Draw Date.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Certas Energy shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal injury suffered by the winner as a result of their participation in the competition.
The competition and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

- Authorising Certas Energy Limited (The Promoter) and its brands and subsidiaries to use your competition entry photographs in their marketing and promotional materials, which includes but is not limited to their websites, social media platforms, emails, and postal direct mail.
- Granting Certas Energy Limited (The Promoter) and its brands and subsidiaries the right to edit, alter, copy, or distribute your photographs for social media advertising and marketing purposes
- Consenting to Certas Energy Limited (The Promoter) and its brands and subsidiaries publishing your compete name and county if and when they use your competition entry photographs as described above.
- Agreeing that your competition entry photographs belong to Certas Energy Limited (The Promoter) and understand that you will not receive any monetary compensation.
