Certas Energy will be at Plantworx 2019, the UK’s dedicated construction equipment event, to showcase how its range of fuel and lubricant management solutions can fuel safety, security and productivity on construction sites.
Maintaining a reliable supply of fuel and complete visibility over stocks is essential to keeping construction sites moving. As a specialist provider to the construction industry, Certas Energy offers nationwide deliveries of fuels, lubricants and more from its network of over 150 local depots to help keep sites moving.
On stand K9B, the Certas Energy team will share how fuel storage solutions can support construction businesses to safely move, manage and monitor fuel across sites. The latest in fuel tank technology will also be on display, including an ABBI Highway Tow bowser, a TransCube 3,000 litre transportable fuel cube and a high-capacity Envirobulka static tank.
Certas Energy’s specialist construction team will demonstrate how telemetry systems – such as those built into the Envirobulka tank – can deliver productivity and efficiency improvements on sites. By monitoring fuel stocks, automating deliveries and alerting businesses to any sudden fuel drops that might indicate theft or spillage, telemetry systems help to drive down time, cost and risk.
Emma-Jayne Brown, Construction Marketing Manager for Certas Energy, commented: “Having the right fuel management solutions in place can fuel real change on sites – not only helping to improve productivity but compliance and cost efficiency too. We look forward to meeting visitors at Plantworx and sharing how our range of fuel storage and management solutions can give construction businesses confidence that they will never run out of fuel.“
Following its environmental award win at this year’s Plantworx Innovation Awards, Certas Energy will also share how alternative fuels can help immediately reduce local emissions without impacting productivity.
Supplied in the UK by Certas Energy, GTL Fuel is a cleaner burning diesel alternative that has been proven to reduce emissions of harmful local air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, particulate matter and carbon monoxide. As a drop-in solution, GTL Fuel can be introduced to on and off-road machinery without requiring modifications to existing equipment.
Brown continued “Construction businesses are facing pressure to reduce emissions, yet the majority of machinery used on sites cannot be easily switched to other energy sources. Here, ‘TransFuels’ – the alternative fuels available in the here and now – will forge the transition to a zero-emission future. GTL Fuel supports constructors to immediately respond to the needs of the sector for the good of the workforce, the environment and local communities.”
