Certas Energy, the UK’s largest distributor of fuels and lubricants, is delighted to reopen our Dorrington depot in Shrewsbury after extensive refurbishment.
Situated on Station Road off the A49 in Dorrington, the Certas Energy depot (previously known as Bates and Hunt Petroleum) supplies heating oil, kerosene, bulk diesel fuels, pre-packed lubricants, additives and AdBlue® to the local area, served by a friendly and knowledgeable team.
What's new?
We have significantly invested in a major refurbishment programme that has replaced all 6 large capacity storage tanks to assure local fuel supply, whatever the demand. The depot yard has been resurfaced to ensure the safety of our team and visitors to the site.
With 6 tankers permanently based at the location, our busy team can now co-ordinate orders and deliveries; and the improved facilities will better serve the local community and visiting customers.
These improvements in the depot storage capability, office facilities and safety standards enable fuel orders to be processed and distributed quickly and safely. With less distance to travel for collections and deliveries, our customer and community benefit from both cost savings and reduced emissions in the local area.

Open for business
The Dorrington depot is now officially open, the site will be manned one day a week during the current Covid-19 restrictions, so call ahead if you would like to arrange a time to visit to place your order.
